Bevles Co., Inc. v. Teamsters Local 986, 791 F.2d 1391 (9th Cir. 1986). Lead counsel for amici curiaeurging full protection of undocumented workers under collective bargaining agreements.

Cabral v. State Board of Control, 112 Cal.App.3d 1002, 169 Cal.Rptr. 604 (1980). Lead counsel for amicus curiae advocating eligibility of undocumented persons for benefits under state program providing assistance to victims of violent crime.

Developmental Disabilities Area Board 10 v. Smith, Civ. No. 50040 (Cal. Super. Ct. Los Angeles, 1983). Lead counsel for state-wide class of severely disabled undocumented children seeking assistance under the California Childrenís Services program.

Immigration and Naturalization Service, et al., v. National Center for Immigrants' Rights, et al., 481 U.S. 1009 (1992). Co-counsel for national class of persons subjected to "no-work" rule imposed on persons awaiting the outcome of deportation proceedings.

L.U.L.A.C., et al. v. Wilson, et al., 997 F.Supp. 1244 (C.D. Cal., filed 1994). Co-counsel for state-wide class action challenging California Proposition 187.

Lopez v. INS, No. CV-78-1912 (C.D. Cal. 1992). Co-counsel for national class of persons denied access to counsel following arrest by INS agents.

Mountain High Knitting, Inc., v. Barr, No. 92-0512 (S.D. Cal. 1992). Lead counsel for nominal class of employers subjected to overbroad search warrants and employees termininated from their employment because of erroneous INS determinations that they lack documented immigration status.

Orantes-Hernandez v. Smith, 541 F.Supp. 351 (C.D. Cal. 1982). Lead counsel for national class of Salvadoran nationals seeking rights relating to political asylum in the United States.

Plyler v. Doe, 457 U.S. 202 (1982). Co-counsel for state-wide class of undocumented children denied access to public elementary education because of their immigration status.

Reno v. Catholic Social Services, 509 U.S. 43, 113 S.Ct. 2485 (1993). Co-counsel for national class of persons unlawfully denied legalization under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.

Reno v. Flores, 507 U.S. 292; 113 S. Ct. 1439 (1993). Lead counsel in national class action on behalf of children denied release on bail pending the outcome of deportation proceedings.

United States v. Ullah, 976 F.2d 509 (9th Cir. 1992). Co-counsel for criminal defendant denied right to verdict by unanimous jury.
